The Steven Johnson Syndrome is an EP recorded with Grimey Rhyme Regime emcee Polio during the Fall of 2011. The project came together quick and very naturally. I decided to bring some of my musical family along for additional instrumentation. Joseph Webb plays some guitar and my Actual People bandmates DJ Calcutta & Jacob Kicklighter lend a hand. Polio brings along DOH & Nacirema. S8N did the caricatures for the cover and Pete Sake handled all the graphics and layout of the physical copies.
I used Ableton Live, guitar, bass, samples, Nord Lead 2X & several different soft synths to produce the EP.

Murk-a-Troid was released July 22, 2011. Murk-a-Troid was comprised of Crash DDZ on the mic and me on the production side of things. This was the first hip hop project I fully produced. Crash being a member of The Grimey Rhyme Regime enlisted a few members of his crew to guest on the album. The artwork was done by Sean “S8N” McGlone.

In 2010 my friend and Hippiedigger guitarist & noise maker Joseph Webb started The Kill Noise Collective and we released “Good Time Armageddon Music” in October of 2010. I played synths and some other gadgets live while Joseph had a few guitars, a lap steel & a ton of effect boxes. While Joseph & I are the core members of that project we had several people in our live band as a third member. Dennis Stein (who performs as Introvert & is highly recommended to check out), Chris Weltmer and Nick “NB420” Beech all helped us out. This was the first album art Sean “S8N” MGlone did for me and I’m pretty sure it’s his first album artwork he did for anyone. Look him up, he does amazing work.

This is collection of beats when I was just getting started making beats. As the title implies most of these were done around 2005. Sean McFadden did the cover for me.
I used a MPC2000, a Korg Triton, guitars, basses & a Fostex D16 to record these tracks.
